Our Story

 

We provide  different styles of culinary services which include catered meals, individual meals, customized menu selections plus shipping and delivery of our signature Jerk and Pepper Sauces. 

Nataisha Guthrie is the Executive Chef and owner of Jerk mansion. Nataisha was born and raised  in Brooklyn NY. Her mother migrated to the states from Kingston, Jamaica WI in the early 1970’s and started her own business as a Caribbean Restaurant owner in Boston MA . Her mother  later started a  very successful Catering Business in Brooklyn NY which was inspirational for Nataisha. Nataisha  started cooking at a very young  age by shadowing her mother at home and at their business places.  She later began to cater neighborhood parties and sports events with her business partner and spouse  Erwing Rouse Jr.  leading to the the development and launch of Jerk Mansion. 

NaDaijah Wright is the Sous Chef and  Marketing manager for Jerk Mansion. NaDaijah was born and raised in Brooklyn NY with a Caribbean background. NaDaijah developed a passion for cooking by being employed at a number of restaurants and kitchens in the NYC and New York State area including her past role as a food prep at her college Skidmore College and other local restaurants. NaDaijah  assists with creating phenomenal menu items which include the number one  hit on our wing menu  “Honey Sriracha Wings” and her signature “Rasta Pasta”. She also manages our specials and promotions and makes certain to keep Jerk Mansion trending. 

Erwing Rouse Jr.  is the Business Manager of  Jerk Mansion.  Erwing  was born and raised in Brooklyn NY and also learned about the culinary as hospitality world from his father who was an executive Chef at major sporting arenas and events in New York and New Jersey. Erwing has managed many of Brooklyn’s finest restaurants and bars and have provided executive management leveling of culinary and hospitality services throughout the Tristate area.
